Mechane service and credit terms

Mechane is operated by Wallfacer Capital Inc. These terms cover the invited Mechane paid beta and purchases of compute credits. Contact scott@mackie.live with service or billing questions.

Access and agent use

Use the service only for work you are authorized to perform. Protect your login and workspace API keys. You are responsible for the prompts, files, tools, and permissions you give your agents. Do not use Mechane for unlawful activity or to interfere with other users or systems.

Agents can make mistakes and can execute tools. Review their results and use appropriate limits before allowing them to act on important systems. The beta may experience interruptions or changes. Maintain copies of important work; saved checkpoints are not a guarantee that every in-flight change survives.

Purchases and delivery

A purchase adds USD-denominated compute credits to the selected mech. Credits pay for Mechane model usage and sandbox runtime at the published rates. They are service credits, not a bank deposit or currency, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another mech, or used to pay third parties.

The initial beta supports manual purchases by all workspace owners in the United States and Canada. Checkout shows the purchase amount and applicable tax before payment. There is no recurring subscription or automatic reload in this release.

Credits become available after payment is confirmed and the credit grant is recorded. If processing is delayed, the purchase remains pending while Mechane reconciles it. Contact support with the purchase reference if paid credits do not appear. Do not send card details or API secrets to support. There is no physical shipment.

Expiry, cancellation, and refunds

Purchased credits do not expire. Unused credit remains usable after one month. You can stop buying credits or stop using the service at any time; this does not automatically refund an earlier purchase.

Purchases are generally non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. If you bought credits accidentally, email scott@mackie.live with the purchase reference. We may make a discretionary correction after reviewing the purchase and unused balance. Neither a correction nor a refund is guaranteed by this policy. Any approved refund is processed against the original payment.

A refund, payment dispute, suspected misuse, or payment problem may suspend the affected mech's paid work while we investigate and reconcile its balance. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies under applicable law.

Spending and changes

Runs consume the selected mech's credit balance, with no default or service-wide dollar cap per run. The balance available when a run starts bounds its spending. Credits added during a run are available to its next invocation. Execution timeouts and request limits still apply. Buying credit does not promise a particular result. Mechane does not charge beyond the authorized balance for in-flight excess usage.

The published rates and available features may change for future runs. Review the dashboard's current rates before starting work. Contact support before funding work that needs a service guarantee.
