These model rates are twice the provider's published standard rates checked on September 24, 2026. The table is the price customers pay for the usage categories Mechane meters. Unlisted provider costs are not added to a customer's bill. Sandbox runtime includes preparation and shutdown time.
Funding
Mechane is a product of Wallfacer Capital Inc. Workspace owners in the United States and Canada can fund their mechs without a separate funding invitation. All prices and credit balances are in US dollars (USD).
Each mech has its own prepaid compute balance. Workspace owners can add $5–$100 at a time using Stripe Checkout, with card and Link payment options where available. Applicable tax is added at checkout; only the purchase subtotal becomes compute credit. Automatic reload is not available in this beta. Stripe may offer payment in a local currency. Checkout shows its converted total before payment; the mech's credit balance remains denominated in USD. Currency-conversion fees may apply.
Spending
Runs can use the mech's available balance, with no default or service-wide dollar cap per run. The available balance is reserved when work starts. Credits added during a run are available to its next invocation. Only actual metered usage is charged; unused reservations are released when the run closes. Execution timeouts and model-request limits still apply during the beta. Mechane rejects work without enough available credit and interrupts work at its funded boundary. Stopping a tool or provider request can take time; Mechane absorbs costs beyond the authorized balance.
Expiry and refunds
Purchased credits do not expire. Purchases are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law and discretionary corrections for accidental purchases. Read the credit terms before buying.
Rate changes and help
The dashboard shows the rates that apply when a run starts. Future rates may change; a run keeps the rate assigned when it was admitted. For access or billing help, email scott@mackie.live.
